Rheadiculous
"The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance."
--Aristotle
High Technology
Early 80's
I’ve had enough
I can’t stand living in a world full of blind accusations
People with scarves over their eyes blind to humiliation
Why can’t they see
It’s just a blatant democracy
And so they live their lives listening to once dictation
Claim they can’t fight technology
Then they look for one to blame because they’re caught in communization
Don’t blame God
Blame it on humanity and their stupidity
High technology
We must always keep our place
We were made in perfect form and we can never be replaced
High Technology has put us where we are today
High Technology
High Technology
Where nothing ever rhymes
Sound goes on in perfect circles to eternally survive
Who is due credit for keeping recycled life alive
High Technology
Don’t look up
For the future may not be pleasant
Just while you can live out your dreams
Cause we’ll find out when the nations blow each other over
It doesn’t mix
Man, democracy, and machines
To be completely honest I can not remember writing this song, but it was in the notebook of poems I have kept since Jr. High. I think this stems from the great fear I had of nuclear war. That's my best guess.
