"The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance."

Colors Of My Heart
Early 80s
There are sunless places in my mind
Discolored figures stray with misadventure
They search for hidden white light for my emotions
Won’t you color them for me
Thru cobwebs and the dust inside my brain
They cross the pathway to their answer
Although it’s bright and far from narrow
You have the key, but you walk with them
And when time’s colors have you lost at sea
The light of my heart can bring you home
Our love was made to last ever and forever
There is more to my heart, if you would just believe in me
I have absolutely NO idea what-so-ever! I wrote this when I was 12. One thing I do note is that I talk about having cobwebs and dust in my brain. I have done this in many songs over the years. It's weird!
